How Omega is OLDER Than The Bad Batch

In the Bad Batch finale, we learned that Omega is older than her brothers. How could this be? Does she have altered ageing? Does she age slower than Jango Fett? Do the Bad Batch age twice as fast?

Does she age normally? Does she age slower? Is that her mutation? Is that her power? How old do you think the Bad Batch could be? they look older than late 20's...

She doesn't have slower aging, she is probably around 10 years old in the Bad Batch meaning she was probably just an unaltered clone made about 5 years after Boba. They call Boba "Alpha" and she is Omega so it is a lot more likely she was just another version of him (but female) made later on with normal aging. Any abilities she has are most likely linked to her ability to strategize or being able to learn very quickly.

Omega: Judge me by my size do you?!
Yoda: My line that is!

I don't think she ages slower, she's just a clone of a later generation than Boba and therefore younger than him but because she doesn't have accelerated aging is physically younger than the Bad Batch

Boba's older then them too and he looks younger.

She probably was made around the same time as Boba.

Tech did say she was a pure Jango Clone like Boba.

In episode 9 of the Bad Batch Tech mentions this "I've further analyzed Omega's genetic profile and discovered she has pure first generation DNA." "All clones were created from a host named Jango Fett. While our genetic structure was modified for growth acceleration and obedience, Omega is a pure genetic replication."

Given Tech's analysis from that episode it wouldn't make sense for Omega to have any mutations. No age deceleration or special abilities as having such a modification would mean she would not be a pure genetic replication.

Maybe she was the last of the clones to be made without the accelerated ageing? She could realistically be 12-14 years old and slightly younger than Boba Fett. Would explain both her youth and her name.

When you realize this means Omega's gunna have to watch each of them die from old age when she's 30...

She ages like Boba I assume since she wasn't altered

I’ve always assumed her “mutation” was simply being female. She is, after all, the only female clone we’ve seen, and some manipulation would have to be necessary to clone a female from a male genetic sample.

As for the age, I imagine she was born around the time boba was (maybe slightly after to give time for the genetic manipulation). I also imagine the ‘batch’ wasn’t one of the first groups of clones the kaminoans made; why make mutated clones before you know you’ve made the regular clones right? The batch could be around 8-10 and she could be around 13-14. She could have been as old as 5 or 6 when they were made; definitely old enough to remember their creation.

"Is Omega older than Clone Force 99?"
"Depends on the context. Physically? No. Mentally? Yes."

Haven’t watched the video yet but the way i see it: She ages normally like Boba, and She’s more strategic then the average clone. We saw an example of this when she was playing that Tactics game at Sids, and won every game despite.

Well, Omega does not have any advanced aging, it makes sense if she is the oldest of the group.

This video could’ve been: “She was made before the bad batch.” Video ends.

I don't care how old Omega is. She has the cutest voice ever.

I think the aging / programming in the cylinders happens at an accelerated rate. Omega was raised outside the tanks and, while she lacks the skillset of the bad batch, has more real world experience outside combat missions which imo is part of why she's in the 'trusted advisor' role for the team. I think the regular clones maybe age at a slightly accelerated rate but not at the hyperspeed (2-3x) that they do in the spaarti-style cylinders.

Logically I do think she is Boba’s exact age. It might be that her aging is about twice as slow as that of Boba and therefore twice as slow as any normal human being. It would certainly make for an interesting plot point: Perhaps her slow aging is somehow connected to Yoda or Grogu’s slow aging who could perhaps even be the ‘age-template’ for Omega herself. I’m starting to believe more and more that TBB will interconnect with Mando in a more apparent way in season two. Theory, you really might be onto something…

I've seen enough anime to know that having a character "age slower" and look like a child yet being older than everyone else... it never ends well

Answer: she’s pure, she doesn’t develop like normal clones, saved you some time

I don’t see why people think it’s so unbelievable that she remembers them being created. Here are a number of reasons why she could remember without decelerated aging

1. Jango Fett has exceptional DNA, perhaps an amazing memory accompanies this
2. Seeing the bad batch might be a significant enough memory for her to remember
3. Many normal people have early childhood memories, I know I have some.
