Hello! I’m a dental hygienist and I also have my masters degree in dental hygiene. You have done great with your routines and keeping your values as well. I’d like to praise you for using a soft brush. I’ve given so many adults children’s toothbrushes with Disney characters on them and they look at me weird but have praised me later 🤙. Also as you move through pregnancy you may experience additional gum bleeding which is normal. Massage your gums with your toothbrush gently at a 45 degree angle to help reduce inflammation
Go mama go! 😘

Ten minutes ago I said, "Thank you Lord" and "Thank you Brittany". I had on hand every single item in your video. I tried the oil of clove and tea tree and my gum ache has calmed down considerably. Thank you.

Clove oil is the only thing that took away my pain 100% years back when I had an infected back tooth as well. It was a lifesaver.

If youre having recurring infections its likely not going away and you have a constant low level infection.
This can become systemic-meaning it gets ibto your blood and kills you. I highly recommend going to the dentist and getting an x ray toake sure you dont have root level decay, neeve decay, bone decay which is causing the constant infections.

I'm a mom of 4... pregnancy is "wicked" harsh on gums and teeth!! Clove oil always helped with tooth pain. Oil pulling seemed to make my teeth more sensitive? Anyone else have that happen? Tea tree... absolutely! Thank you, Brittany! ❤️

Brittany, I also have a wisdom tooth that would get infected from food getting caught in there and inside the gum area. Would get swollen all around the area and painful as well. I did similar to what you’ve done but I added one thing. I would mix one drop of grapefruit seed extract into my tablespoon of coconut oil before swooshing. That really killed the infection. I did that once a day for about 4/5 days. Saltwater, clove rinse and using a cutip with clove oil in it and applied to and around the tooth as well. But, have to use the oil very sparingly or mix it with a carrier oil because it can burn the gums. The grapefruit seed extract is very bitter but it really squelched the issue I felt along with keeping my mouth super clean. I kept sugar intake to bare minimum, even lowered fruit intake during that time since that kind of thing feeds off a sugar in the body. Lots of salads and vegetables during that time. :)

Brlttany,
First off you are a beautiful person, and I wish there were more like you roaming the earth. I am 73 and when I do get an infection under a tooth I go into fasting mode, or eat very small portions, and no room for the junk food I sometimes consume. I never let dentists do there costly intervention work nor would I take an antibiotic. I rely on my body to do the healing. To possibly speed up the healing will try tea tree oil topically, and perhaps oil pulling. Thank you for your inspirational video. Hugs and love to you from New Rochelle N.Y.

Clove oil does have some antibacterial properties. However, clove oil itself isn't really getting rid of the infection. Eugenol, the main component of clove oil is pretty hard on your gums. So what it's actually doing is making it easier for the infection to work its way out. But it doesn't hurt that it had antibacterial properties to. Baking soda does something similar. It weakens the gums therefore making it easier for the infection to work its way out. Tea bags also work. But nothing works as good as some good old eugenol or clove oil. Get the strongest eugenol you can find. The stronger it is the more it'll help with the pain. Stuff is a God send when you get that unbarible pain.

I love how you treat your body like a temple! Now that I'm in my forties, I do the same, though I wish I started sooner! Better late than never! ;)

Swishing oregano oil mixed with coconut oil helps a lot as well

Aloe vera mouth rinse is very helpful too, in treating tongue, burns, bites, and gum irritations after dental work, (pregnancy as you are discussing). Important sharing! Good luck to you! 💓💕

Omg I’ve been having the worst toothache during this last trimester of my pregnancy and my boyfriend showed me your video today because I definitely can’t afford the dental work. Thanks so much! I don’t like taking Tylenol everyday

Clean sinus cavities and clean Eustachian tubes are paramount to tooth and gum/ mouth health as well. Nettie pot sinus rinses will tell you withing minutes if your Eustachian tubes were packed and inflamed. Great vid. Great actionable info as well. Thanks.

This is exactly what I'm going through now. For the past month I've had swollen gums around one of my back wisdom tooth. Naturally you want to avoid the costly procedure and stress of having them removed. I remembered about 8 months ago the exact same thing happened to the same wisdom tooth and I cured it with a salt water rinse. Last night I started again and I felt it's effects immediately.

The human body can heal itself with one condition, that infected body is clean. No matter what method you use to clean your mouth, when it is clean with whatever (salt water, coonut oil, baking soda, clove oil, tea oil, ... Brushing twice a day, flossing, going to dentist) the infected part of body starts to heal itself. That is what I think. Maybe I am not right.
