What is Sin?

The world and the Bible have two very different definitions of sin. In this teaching, I will explain from the Bible what sin is and how God judges it. Also in this teaching, I will show you the difference between the terms: Transgression, Sin, Iniquity, and Deceit.

The Washington monument, Mt Rushmore, Jefferson memorial, are some of the idol that he compared to the golden calf as well as the flag and constitution itself. Wow! Thank you for this lesson of SIN. I took notes on what you said. However, the 4th one deceit/deception, I've always prayed to God over and over I guess in my deception of 30+ years of my life because. I deal with mental illness. I've been healed in a lot of my mental weaknesses by the grace of God. What I'm trying to ask is... I'm okay in God's eyes even today? Al though I've allowed deception to blind me. Because I've made excuses? For my past sins, I would say to God, I'm so sorry, Lord, for xy and z because I battled with severe mental illness, although I've gave my life to the Lord in 1991, I didn't follow through as a true Christian.i was one foot in the world, and served God at the same time. I tried so hard to cling to God most of my christian life. I know with out of doubt now he loves me. But i hated me, So i would think 30+ years God was taking notes of everything i did. So i pleaded with God of how sorry i am. Of course I've heard so many different teachings as well to add to the illness. I sometimes doubt my salvation now because of the deception. I was so absent-minded, Tiff, I didn't know what was right or wrong growing as an adult. I've cried in sorrow for years because of my illness and the horrible things I've done. I know this is long... but I need to know and have assurance. I'm going to heaven. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you for all your teachings of God word. Sin is unbelief in God’s Word. Smoking, drinking, lying, cheating, adultery, profanity, etc. These are all only attributes of sin (unbelief). If you believe and filled with the Spirit of God you will not sin. That is Bible.

My daughter in law is living with sin against her husband by secretly engaging in flirting conversation with another man. He’s heartbroken but trying to be patient as she “works this out”. Please pray for her that she would see this is cheating, and sinful. Tia.
