Why is sin bad? (and don't just tell me I'm going to hell).

We ask what is sin, and we are taught how to avoid it, but why is sin bad... and what does it have to do with me and my life right now? Based on my many mistakes as a sinner I finally learned: This isn't about heaven, hell, or making any judgments about anyone, we are all sinners, its really all about love. it’s about what does sin have to do with me and My life right now, and why should I care! And btw, we're all sinners. 🙏

This video is profound! There is a sin I have had to deal with all of my life. Fifty-one years ago in a sincere conversion experience I became a Christian. I thought dropping the sin would be easy but here I am still struggling with it and every time it happens I feel like whale shit and deeply ashamed before God. I am committing to watching this every day as often as convenient in the hope that it just might bring enough conviction and realization of how much God does care and give me the victory! I had no idea this channel was Catholic! I just saw an ad for it and thought “it must be another incomplete Protestant evangelical answer to sin, but this seems so much more complete to a basic understanding of sin that I thought “you know, this sounds kinda Catholic. Lo and behold I go to your channel page and see yes, yes you are Catholic.
To me, there’s just something special to seeing other Catholics around places I wouldn’t expect. It’s almost like finding a brother or sister that you haven’t seen for a while, like I’ve known you all my life. And it’s such a relief! Catholic here Thank you for making this video im struggling with one sin im 17 and i always wondered why i keep going to the same sin and that's when i heard in my head that i was in love with this sin ... That hit me so hard i started crying if you have anything about true repentance and godly sorrow that can help me better understand i want to change but I don't want to say it anymore i want to do it God showed me mercy and i don't want to break his heart anymore..

My Father on Earth & in Heaven, I apologize and repent for my sins… I’m sorry for the devastation I have caused. For my mistakes, I understand that I should be punished & im so very sorry.
