Many articles are speculating on The Mandalorian Season 4 happening or not, and while we don't have CONFIRMATION from Lucasfilm themselves, we do have confirmation from Jon Favreau that Season 4 of the Mandalorian's script is indeed complete! Here are my thoughts about this.

Thank you for watching today's video. I hope you have a great day, and I'll see you in the next one! May the force be with you, ALWAYS!

Honestly would not mind if we just got seaosn 4 as Grogu & Din going on bounty hunting adventures!

I think everyone missed some very important foreshadowing dialogue. When Mando was meeting with the New Republic Rangers, he said that he wanted to work for them "off the books" to hunt down Imperials. From that dialogue, and seeing the shadow council that Moff Gideon meet with. I believe season 4 will be mando hunting down the entire shadow council while Ashoka will be only aiming to take down Thrawn and eventually both Timelines will sync up later on with crossover episodes of Mando and Ashoka.

I’ve about decided that their whole goal with the “Mandoverse” isn’t to lead to the sequels but to set the playing board for a vastly changed galaxy after a big time jump. I think they’ll acknowledge the sequels then jump 150 - 200 years to a galaxy with a resurgent mandalorian empire, a new Jedi order, and a new government. It would really open them up for telling new stories in a new era.

These first 3 seasons of the Mandalorian kinda feel like the first arc of a story, the first overarching villain is finally dead, Grogu has finally been adopted, and Mando is now started on a new(ish) job

I want a mando season 2.5 (maybe animated format) to cover grogu’s time with luke and maybe some djin adventures and just rounding out how abrupt the transition from s2 to 3 was if you dont count watching BoBf and seeing mando there.

Grogu’s training w/ Luke even seemed cut short when watching the cut to “the decision”

It’s ironic that Favreau said that they have to know where the story is going next. Man seems like that would have worked well with the sequel trilogy too….

I mean, the story of Grogu did get some progression ! He got a new armor piece, he defeated the other kid in duel, He helped save Din, he got his robot meca suit thing, he showed off some force abilities. He was not completely useless, come on. But yeah, he could have trained more with Luke indeed. They should use location and time jump texts like 'Mandalore' and 'Two years later' to help us feel the time passing

My only concern is that it's "baby yoda" and riding that coattail is tough. They can't keep doing that. Like I want to see Grogu be the one to create a new darksaber and have it call out to him like the jedi before him, but he can't do that when he can't even speak for himself. I feel like we are in a very odd time for the story as it's pushing hard for Bo Katan to be the leader of Mandalore who unites everyone, yet we get glimpses are foreshadows of Grogu being the future leader. It's not even like we as a viewer are being kept in suspense, but as if the writers themselves are just winging it

I know season 3 was not as good as the previous ones, and a lot of things were a bit lackluster, but i can see a couple of hints for the future seasons, like maybe adapting the dark saber for Grogu to wield it and Also Grogu taming the Mitossaur and maybe becoming the leader of Mandalore!
I think this season served a bit as a World builder/filler so that season 4 can be great like season 1 and 2.

I'd love to see Din & Grogu for season four. See Mandalorian training, mixing with Jedi training, with Grogu starting to come into his own. Maybe his first words?

Interesting thing some people may not have thought of is that if the kyber crystal to the dark saber is still in tact that gives Grogu a kyber crystal, they may take it to Ahsoka and she takes grogu to make his own light saber with the dark sabers kyber crystal, not for sure on this but definitely something to think about

Din will always be the Mandalorian to me. Great show. Looking forward to season 4.

Second last episode had me thinking, hoping, they might be able to make me like the sequels over the next few years, sadly disappointed, I’ll keep watching, on my pirate ship *yarr*

Grogu making the mythosaur open it's eye surely implies that there will be. It's clear to me that the beginning of the new mandolorian era is not the end.

What if the "Dark Saber crystal" was just split in two. Grogu could use two smaller dark saber's...as a jedi and still a mandaloren.

awesome vid as always, just a small crit about the comment of Grogu not doing anything during a season. The influence of the child on Djarin has been the driving Force that has brought the story along and will continue to .

I really liked season 3. Had no problem with it. I could say it lacked direction as far as who was the main opposition for most of the season. Besides that I loved it

Theory KK had control of the script and she made decisions to only allow one character cameo, Zed, and she made celebrity cameos decisions. Favreau wanted a 10-12 episode season but we know how that went. Ahsoka and s4 of The Mandalorian do not have any creative influence by KK. Disney can't fire KK fast enough because everything she touches is always bad news for fans and we know how she feels about fans.

Imagine back in the day, when tv-shows had 22-26 episodes per season, how did they manage?
