Bringing Din Djarin and Din Grogu to the big screen before the "Heir to the Empire" film makes sense, as it would introduce the characters to more casual Star Wars fans and new fans alike. It both introduces the characters to a wider audience, and sets up their appearance in the following movie.

Nothing but good news. My hope is that the story for Season 4 of The Mandalorian sets up some of the action and drama in the Mando & Grogu movie (that title's got to be changed....I still vote for, The Mandalorian: Warrior & Child) Yes, there absolutely should be a Mando Saga Trilogy. It would be great, if Bryce Dallas Howard got to direct one of the 3 movies. She's definitely earned it, through her high-quality episodes in 3 of the 4 Mandoverse series (The Mandalorian, The Book Of Boba Fett, Skeleton Crew). Thanks for the info, Bud. Let's hope the Mandalorian season 4 and Ahsoka season 2 will release next year. Maybe Jon Favreau's star wars movie will release on May 2026 and the rise of Skywalker sequel movie will release on December 2025. I also hope both the Mandalorian season 4 and Jon Favreau's star wars movie will have lightsaber duels.

I don't know if I got confused or the situation is really dubious. The impression I got is that filming on The Mandalorian is happening and the studio is not sure if that will be launched as a film or broken down in episodes for the Season 4.

This sounds good. So we get Mandalorian season 4 and then the movie. This makes sense. This is good. I don't think Mando season 4 and Rey movie fit. Rey movie happens 15 years after Rise of Skywalker. Mando series, Ahsoka adventures and all happens what little before 20 years before? I think few less. Huge time. After how they defiled season 3 Mando is dead as well as a series - as a customer i simply refuse to engage with both Disney and KK "Lucas" films. So as far as i am concerned they can go bankrupt. I do not care if the Favreu will make a movie because while i like him i know that his success will be used to save the backhides of those who want to ruin that brand. So the sooner they go bankrupt the sooner the people responsible will be fired - and then the REAL restorarion of the brand couild be made - until that time any money given to them will be squandered on even more trash.
