They are insutling tolkiens work the whole point of sauron is that he is like an angel fallen from grace and wants to enslave the free world not a wiseman trying to do the right thing through force but a demonic spirit obsessed with perfection. And they made the elves so pathetic there suppose to wise and perfect beings not whiney foolish children and numenor is suppose to be the greatest civilization of mankind in the history of middle earth tolkien wrote about it as if it was atlantis the way they portrayed it in the show was a complete disgrace.

Remember the last season how lame the battle Scenes were? Also, nobody gives two flying f**ks about little foots or whatever those things are called…

They should just stay true to Tolkiens works as much as possible. I dont see the need to "re imagine" one of the most successful and well known IPs of all time. I dont think they can do better than Tolkien himself... See how well thats working for them?

I'm confused why a christian network would be endorsing these dark movies like this? Have they strayed that far off the path? Would they really think this is what the Lord would find acceptable to fill your mind with? We are called to righteousness and "the lord of the rings" is in my opinion far from that call.
