You can't get less boost then your spring pressure! Boost controller just gets more, you need 6lb spring

Remember some don't act like buttholes when suggesting things, and good that it's all good to go but the possibility is always there . Checking it now just prevents future blame by whoever if something were to go wrong down the road.

Just FYI, you cannot make any less boost than the wastegate spring pressure. If the wastegate opens at 8 psi and you want 6psi, a boost controller will not drop the boost only increase the boost. You need to get a different actuator with a lower spring pressure or one that you can change the springs on like a Turbosmart. Glad the acid didn't destroy the diaphragm 👍🏻

Good on you double-checking. I personally missed the part where you said you plugged the hole before the muriatic acid. Regardless, it's wise to check it anyways since you'll be relying on spring pressure for your boost control. Cheers, man!
