I respect Marvel for respecting Magneto’s origin and keeping his past the same with The Holocaust because it’s important to his character

He tried, he trully did
His speech on ep 2 is a proof of that
But after Genosha, he understands that trying to do things in Xavier's way won't work for him

Can we also point out how he just made a top 5 MCU Moment.
As soon as val said "Magneto is right"
When he said "Enough"
I got massive chills. He was so done with bastion and his plan!!!

Xavier's idealism in the face of actual realized threats is sickening. Magneto was always right. Peace is worth fighting for, but the peace of submission without justice is no peace at all.

It’s so upsetting that Magneto tried to use Professor X’s vision of humans and mutants united in peace, sharing the world and then, Genosha was completely annihilated, so now he’s going back to his own way. He wants to help his fellow mutant brethren, yet humankind, just simply doesn’t want that to happen. We really don’t stop and think. We just do. After what he’s been through, and everything he’s had to witness, I’d definitely say that he’s got every single right to do so. So, three words: MAGNETO IS RIGHT!

It’s like Malcom X said, “by any means nessecary”
Yes violence is bad but if your people are being wiped out, of course you should fight back. Magneto was right and honestly I think Professor X shouldn’t led the X-men in the show anymore bc Magneto would actually help the mutants fight back and not get wiped by the sentinels

After watching this episode, Bastion quickly became one of my favourite X-Men villains. Bastion is such a great villain in this show, and his plan is genius yet horrific to think about. His being a mix of Nimrod & Master Mold is wild. I love how charismatic he is with his belief that mutants supposedly take away humans' chances of the future, like a twisted, charismatic entrepreneur/salesman pitching his belief onto your average human middle-class guy, spreading more fear and insecurities about mutants to inevitably get them to act on said fears. What's even worse is that there is a level of truth and meta-commentary from his philosophy and how he manipulates blue-collar class racism and the bigotry normal humans create based on their fears. Not to mention the fact that such a big part of the population are secretly Human Sentinel sleeper agents and didn't even know it is SCARY ASF! These things can also reproduce and extend the human population, making the implications even more terrifying.

It's funny how Gyrich teased this fate in the first episode, saying, "Tolerance is extinction." This basically means that whenever humanity starts tolerating mutants, humans will inevitably believe they'll go extinct; therefore, they think that whenever mutants start tolerating humans, mutants need to go extinct, hence what happened in Genosha.
Even though Magneto may have been right, that still doesn't mean Charles' vision is impossible, and now that Charles is back and Magento has declared war on humanity, the stakes are even higher than ever. It is also sad that Magneto had to suffer even more watching innocent mutants massacred and being tortured by Bastion, especially when, back in episode 2, he genuinely wanted to change and was doing so in honour of Charles's memory.

The fact that Doctor Doom didn't agree which Bastion's plans of genocide, despite his involvement, really shows how dangerous Bastion is, and its pretty in character for Doctor Doom since Doom was also a victim of persecution and extermination after having to watch his family of Romani people hunted down as a child but a tyrannical baron before Doom took over

When the Sentinel “KILLED” Magneto it said “OMEGA LEVEL “THREAT” and the previous episode Cable used an Electro Magnetic grenade. He was always the threat and the key for the War

X-men 97 really speaks volumes on what is really happening in our world today
For Magneto his trying to be a better person but people are really stirring the pot on doing horrible things so for him on what happen to Genosha and the betrayal of Val Cooper only makes him angry enough to declare war against humans.
There is a saying
" no matter what goodness is our Hearts there will always be Conflict "

I’m 1000% on Magnetos side. He told them not to make him let them down and they ended up letting him down. It’s up. They were warned.
