I remember years ago I was talking to a friend who is a geologist. He excitedly told me about potentially farming these nodules with semi-autonomous drones.
I told him that I was skeptical because wouldn't that potentially cause damage to marine life?
And he was like "nah don't worry. There's nothing down there!"
