Mark can you do a vid on how to build up to not putting the bell down for an increasing amount of time? Perhaps for single arm clean and press or something. Cheers

There definitely seems to be 2 schools of thought on this in the KB world. One is Mark's (endurance), the other goes for rest periods like EMOM or self-regulated rest periods..

I agree. Ironically, I learned how to swing a dumbbell before learning with a kettlebell many years before ever picking up a kettlebell. It's not too bad for swinging between the legs with two hands on the dumbbell, but it would not work well for hand to hand swings.

I ramped up to 100 non-stop swings (54#) a few months ago. Never again. It was incredibly boring, and was surprisingly easy to do. I'll be sticking to 20 x 20 in the future.

I'd love to know a single kettlebell that you can buy and progressively overload

What is the ideal weight a person should start with? And how many different kettle ball should they have, at least when starting? @MarkWildman

you're the only one I've ever heard say that they are supposed to be non-stop. I'm doing 30 sec on, 30 sec off for 30 minutes to build up. But I'm a woman so not sure I"m built to go 30minutes straight with a kb.
