A better way to do a Maltese accent than Howcast's!

Following the furore created by Howcast's "How to do a Maltese Accent" video which wasn't quite so accurate, we decided to do our own version of this video! :)

This is so damn funny!!! I am full Maltese, 1st generation in America. So needless to say I grew up in a very Maltese household. The accents are spot on!!! you sound like my dad, and all his friends. I laugh every time I play it, I play it quite a bit. Thank you for putting this out!!! Sahha~

Im part Maltese and am trying to learn the language as I was brought up in wales (quite far away from malta) Its great hearing the natural accent :D not a fake one!

I'm from sicily but this is exact same accent when sicilians speak English. I love when my dad speaks English. He pronounces insurance "inshuriance" like you 🤣🤣🤣

I've lived on Gozo for a year and have many maltese friends. These accents just crack me up! The accent is so cute! I actually sent this video to an egyptian friend of mine as when she speaks English there are some similarities (For example as how she says potatoes = full on Maltese/Gozitan!).

And don't forget to put an 'innit' at the end of a sentence. I miss the pastizzis.

And yes, I know that cheesecakes are different really, but I thought that leaving it at pastizzi wouldn't have really explained it...if we had more time I would have included a photo of pastizzi underneath or something similar, but as we say in Maltese, 'il-ftira sħuna tajba' and we wanted to publish the video asap!
