A Better Way to Pray: Episode 1

Have you ever wondered whether God hears your prayers or why you don’t see His will come to pass? Prayer should be one of the most rewarding parts of a believer’s life, but for many people it is frustrating and ineffective. There was a time when Andrew had many of the same questions you do, but over the years, he found a better way to pray.

In A Better Way to Pray, Andrew dispels a lot of the myths that may have hindered the way you practice prayer, as well as many of the big issues you may have with it. He explains that the main purpose of prayer isn’t to ask God for things—for yourself or for others. The main purpose of prayer is to declare what you already have in your spirit.

I have this book & cd set, it's one of my favorite series. It's so crucial!

Back in 1997 while reading Isaiah 26:12, the Lord impressed on me "Rest in the work that the Word has already done." Andrew just said to "rest in what Jesus has done for us" and that is where we need to operate from bc Jesus said, "It is finished/accomplished." He gave us authority, power, position in Him above the enemy in the heavenlies, His Blood, His Name, & His Spirit - why settle for less?

Thank you for this. I just recently got baptised and I started wondering if my prayers are adequate. My heart was always full of believe, but I never confessed because I was doubtfull about the churches. But recently I asked for a favour, and I got exactly what I asked for. I kind of made a promise to get baptised if my prayer was heard.
Funny thing is: I forgot about it until I was delivered. Then I remembered. And If I am honest to myself, I got exactly what I asked for.
After watching this, I feel silly. Thank you! Thank God!
