Your tip to go to a low carb diet BEFORE intermittent fasting is brilliant. I did it the other way round and have found it really hard and its made me feel unwell at times. Wish Id seen this video first now.

Great video, as always, really good information, simply put across. I've just started IF and have noticed that i feel colder than usual, good to know it's one of the side effects, but nothing that isn't easily resolved.

I was 22 hours into a fast while playing a video game. I looted a pizza and my mouth watered and I got hungry. Was crazy. But I held fast in my fast. :)

4:10 Yeah, man. Showing me that at 11 pm was mean. But your point is correct - hunger can be induced. And the opposite also works - maybe not just as easily.

Great video Dan. Ive been on Keto a few months & regularly fast 21/3 but i'm keen to move onto a 3 day water fast. The current regime has set me up as I recognised everything you said. Once you can control the Ghrelin you are half way there!

Now i understand what might have been causing some light headedness in the a.m and how i can fix it. Also how i can be easy on myself and allow for time to be my teacher as i go along. The feeling of cold in the extremeties during fasting is usually due to your body redirecting the heat/calorific energy to your core, so that your organs are kept warm and protected as this is your body's priority. This usually is known as a sign that autophagy is taking place. So it's mostly seen as a good thing.
