2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro FIRST LOOK

2024 gives us an all-new Toyota Tacoma, and here we have our first look at the TRD Pro trim. We know it, and we love it; what are the biggest highlights of the new trim, what are we excited about? Check out the video and let us know your thoughts!

The 2024 Toyota Tacoma drops its naturally aspirated V6 engine in favor of two four-cylinder powertrains. The first a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder will deliver upwards of 278 horsepower and is available with a six-speed manual transmission. The other powertrain is a turbocharged hybrid four-cyliner that makes 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. Which one would you choose?

Nice looking truck but....huge miss by putting a 4 cylinder in it. The Tacoma needs a v-6 preferably the V6 turbo from the Tundra.

Good video! My biggest issue is that it seems not a single channel seemed to report anything about the TRD Pro interior. It’s the ONLY interior that is shown and it’s…well…LOUD. No one bothered to ask the simple question: “Will this model come in more than one interior color scheme?” Flown out to Hawaii, put up in hotels, and it seems like most everyone just desperately tried to get as much video footage as they could, but never asked one of the most glaringly obvious questions? I’ve watched just about every release video from last week, and man…not even a “We asked but they couldn’t answer” answer.
