The #ToyotaTacoma is America's favorite midsize truck and for 2024, the #TacomaTRDPRO returns as the halo member in the #Tacoma family. The #TRDPRO is designed to be the most baja capable version and it comes standard with the #iForceMAX #Hybrid powertrain, making this the only option if you want a hybrid midsize pickup truck.

It’s a cool truck but I’m not going to spend $67k plus dealership markups, for a mid size truck with zero back seat room!

I would pay $50k max if this was made in Japan with a 3.0L v6 turbo. $65k with a 4 cylinder turbo and made in Mexico, Toyota must be smoking THC if they think they gonna sell a lot of these….

Too high a price, already issues with transmissions, and no frame mounted bump stops up front … so folks are blowing out their top shock mounts. Once earlier adopters get their fill this truck will just sit on dealer lots.

Fk that 70k is just crazy for a midsize truck these auto makers have just lost thier minds !!

I think Toyota is getting too complacent with their number 1 status in this segment. Since they dropped the v6 as an option the Ranger and Frontier have gained my interest the most. It also has the worst rear leg room in the segment and no rear air vents which GM of all companies didn't omit.

Ya let's just see if this engine also goes boom

My neighbor just bought one and he’s got transmission issues, not sure if his is the “pro” . Either way I wouldn’t buy a lifted Prius .

They should have made TRD Pro on XtraCab configuration consider those front seats basically render 2nd row seat absolutely useless. You get more cargo space and 2 door truck looks more badass

Ford that price I would so prefer a Ranger Raptor. Never I thought a Ford would be more reliable than a Toyota.

Ranger Raptor, all day, vs this. It’s less expensive, more rear seat room, more power and much quicker, rides better, and a transmission and differentials I can trust (never imagined not trusting Toyota quality control 3 years ago).
Also, the money saved can be used for the factory reflash that gets you 455 hp and as much torque as the TRD Pro.

I would just buy a used 4.7 liter Tundra 1st gen refresh. Around the same size as this and 1 million mile motor.

New trucks honestly just suck outside of the Raptor and the TRX before it got discontinued

I have a legit question? Who is the new customer base for all of these car manufacturers?? The average working American CANNOT afford a 50k+++ vehicle.

I’m just trying to imagine the state of my knees after sitting in the back

V6 is gone? 4 cylinder turbo on a vehicle of this size? Hard pass.

No v6, not interested

Like like I'm looking at the Nissan frontier... Never thought I'd like a Nissan.

Remember when Tacoma's were affordable?

I thought I would like the pro until I saw the new zr2 in person. That zr2 looks 100 times better than that tacoma and will save you 15k on top of that.

$82K in Canada for this. Drove a TRD off-road and the little 4 banger felt pretty cheap. They have lost me.
