I love the ombré colors on your bowl. I can imagine quartering several 100 ft lengths of rope and dying them to make several bowls of the same colors.

A member showed her bowls at our quilt group meeting today Another looked at me and teased that I would probably dye my rope to get an ombre look instead of covering with fabric. Thank you so much for this tutorial, I love the idea of using paint instead of dye. I’m thinking of starting with the lightest colour in my bowl then darkening the colour in the bowl each time so don’t have to have four separate bowls of colour.
