Filipino’s is a mixture of so many people from ancient to modern, from mainland Asia, Asian archipelago, austronesians and Polynesian then Spanish came along and Latinos. Then British and Americans came and we have Filipino migration to different parts of the world married to different people then came back to Philippines. Filipino’s are just like our favourite desert “Halo-halo” it continue to evolved. 😂😂😂

I'm from Tacloban City, Leyte Island. It's a very historic place. It faces the Pacific Ocean. The Spaniards first landed on Limasawa, a smaller island in southern Leyte in 1521. Tacloban became the temporary capital when the Americans liberated the Philippines in 1944. To the north is Samar island. It had a U.S naval supply depot and airbase built in 1944 in the town of Guiuan Eastern Samar. Lastly, a smaller island in Guiuan became the refuge of white Russians fleeing the Russian Civil War. Our country has become a melting pot of different races. The Philippines is a very historic place yet many Filipinos don't know these historic details.
