As a Canadian I can tell you that 99% of school uniforms do not include ties. They are more polo shirts and plaid non-pleated skirts...additionally, they always allow girls to wear something underneath it. I can't even remember the amount of times I've seen private school girls wear sweatpants under their skirts, and to be fair, I was one of them lmao

As a person who lives in the USA, I would like to say I've never seen a single school uniform like that. Some schools have uniforms and some schools don't, but never in my life have I seen a school uniform like that in USA. 👍

Fun fact: most of these pictures were actually taken from Chinese online shopping/social media platforms. It’s a style of clothing called JK uniform ( 女子高生の制服) in Japanese or JK制服 in Chinese. Different from Japan, Jk in China is a nickname for “highschool girls” and 制服 means uniform. In China Jk uniform is a very popular trend where young to early 20s girls wear preppy uniforms and among those are mostly Japanese school uniforms because they look really nice and formal. And there are actually a lot of variety including uniforms from different countries but mostly its just Skirt + dress shirt + tie or bow + blazer or cardigan + socks and dress shoes. （So basically the gist of the style is high school uniforms originated from Japan or Japanese high school uniforms but eventually it developed to school uniforms around many other countries.

Being an Indian student, We not only have one uniform. We have one formal and one informal for summers and one formal and one informal for winter.. In total we have Have 4 uniforms and Indian students always buy 2 pairs of uniform .. so.. 8
