How To Get Started In Web Development If You Are A Complete Beginner.

In this video, I would like to talk about the first steps you should take to become a web developer in 2019.

There is no fastest way to become a software developer. No one wants to hear the truth. Everyone wants a quick trick or secret for instant gratification.

The truth is that it is hard.

Ok, I was kidding. Here is the secret.

1. Learn the basics.
2. Study hard.
3. Always be constantly building new things.

Plus a thousand other things and that's it. You are now a web developer. Congratulations.

You can also start with the basics,

Here is my recommendation. You should learn HTML and CSS first. It is a requirement. There is nothing you can do on the web without it.

Second, you need to learn the basics of pure "vanilla" Javascript. Even though technically you can have a website without it, it won't really be able to have any functionality without javascript.

Third, you need to learn a Javascript framework. There are a bunch around, but I prefer ReactJS.

The best way to learn HTML, CSS, and Javascript is not to overdo it. Meaning that you don't need to take every possible course that you can find online.

I recommend just finding one course on Html and CSS. One course on Javascript and one course on ReactJS.

Spend the first two months studying and coding the tutorial projects. In the third month, work on building your own project from scratch based on what you have learned.

Use Google to find answers.
