Those are 3 things I did know. I've been a Spydie fan since the '80s and was a direct dealer as well.

Was never a fan of the look of Spyderco but when I bought a PM3 I fell in love with that spidie hole

Never been a big fan of the look of Spyderco. However, they indeed make fantastic knives!

Sal and his boy and wife have done more for cutlery than almost anyone else modern day. They live for good knives, not money. Benchmade lives for money.. knives come second. Spyderco never became evil.. that’s why I dig them so much.

You have a pocket clip on your knife because of Spyderco.

And unlike Benchmade, they kept their price reasonable, even accounting for inflation.

I've always been a fan of Spyderco, I first noticed their blades in the mid 90's, as far as folding blades go, they're one of my favorites and the best imo.

from the first time i laid my eyes on a spyderco (a PM2) I knew that that was what I would want to use for the rest of time. So beautiful... its interesting how some people don't see it as so.

Delica was my first knife that cost more than $50 like 15 years ago, then the PM2 was my first over $100 knife. Almost 20 years of collecting knives that I'll actually use and not sit on a shelf, most of them are and have been spyderco. Want a unique steel? Spyderco. Want a simple buy it for life knife? Seki Spyderco, American made? Golden, CO Spyderco. Production knife with a reliable and decent heat treat? Spyderco.

spyderco makes an excellent knife . When I get a new knife, I spend the first 24 hours trying to figure out if I hate it and look for imperfections, I have never sent back a spyderco knife, the worst I've gotten is a slightly uneven bevel. I've received Benchmades and other brands that won't lock up properly even after tuning

My first US made knife was a para 3. I still have it and love it.

I want to start collecting rare or limited edition knives...focused on Spydercos, Case, and Bucks, which are technically my favorites.

They make great knives. Remember watching them show up on the scene. Got a few, including the little one that was totally skeletal. Cool knife.
