Scholarship has shown that the Gospel of Judas was written between 220 and 340 AD.

It couldn't have been written by Judas who, as a Jew, would have been more than familiar with Jewish customs and practices of the day. How come the author of the gospel of Judas seems completely ignorant of Jewish customs?

How can one Bible passage convict and unite an athiest to believe in GOD, an old covenant Jew and Islamic to believe Jesus Christ is their Messiah, and a Protestant to know without a shadow of a doubt which ONE CHURCH Jesus Christ established?  How can a single Bible passage contain that much evidence to overwhelmingly convinct each of those individual groups to unite as GOD always intended?

It's all in the Book of Jeremiah.  It contains New Covenant Prophecy and the "evidence" is clearly seen throughout 2, 000 and ongoing years of history. 

The Book of Jeremiah written between 586-630 BC.  Yes, 500 to 600 years "before" Jesus Christ even transcended down from eternity, entered our time and was born as a very "visible" and "historical" GOD.  In His earthly life Jesus Christ fulfilled two very specific covenant promises mentioned in the Book of Jeremiah that are also very "visible" throughout the course of history, evident today, and will be evident until His return.  You ask what two "visible" covenant promises?  Well, let's read Jeremiah 33:14-22 New Covenant Prophecy of what lineage the Jewish Messiah would come from, what He would do, and what He would establish throughout the course of history after He arrived and through sacrifice died.

Per Catholic Revised Standard Version of Jeremiah 33:14-22 New Covenant Prophecy.

14 "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I (being Jesus Christ and per John 10:30 "the Father and I are one") will fulfil the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah.

15 In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch to spring forth for David; and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.

16 In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will dwell securely. And this is the name by which it will be called: 'The LORD is our righteousness.'

17 "For thus says the LORD: David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel,


18 and the Levitical priests shall never lack a man in my presence to offer burnt offerings, to burn cereal offerings, and to make sacrifices for ever."

19 The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:

20 "Thus says the LORD: If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, so that day and night will not come at their appointed time,

21 then also my covenant with David my servant may be broken, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and my covenant with the Levitical priests my ministers.

22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered and the sands of the sea cannot be measured, so I will multiply the descendants of David my servant (Pope Lineage), and the Levitical priests who minister to me."

So, where are these Davidic and Levitical GOD covenant promises stemming from Jesus Christ the Jewish Messiah you may ask? The Davidic Covenant promise is fulfilled by the Catholic Pope who sits upon the earthly throne in the Catholic Church where we see a "multiplication of decendents" on a throne with over 2, 000 year lineage back to Jesus Christ.  And, the Leviticus Priesthood covenant is fulfilled by the Catholic Church Priesthood performing the Malachi 1:11 "daily" "offering".

Both the Davidic and Levitical GOD promises are only found in the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH.

This is irrefutable historical evidence for not only our very "visible" and "historical" GOD Jesus Christ, but GOD keeping His covenant promises throughout 2, 000 and ongoing years.

Shalom. I 've just read the so called Judas' Gospel online...and I realized that it's not even a revelatory text. Jesus didnt speak non sensical words (such as "idle - talk").
- So, the problem is not that this so called gospel is not a part of the Bible or that it was supposedly prevented from being spread by Christianity. ...The main problem is that this so called "Gospel" has no spiritual value. No revelatory information.
- Hence, it helps in no way, shape or form, to understand the message of Salvation which Jesus Christ preached during His life as a Rabbi...
- This video contends that the Christianity could have been misled by simply not understanding who Judas Iscariot was, but it doesnt explain how was the Christianity misled.

-The purpose of each of the 4 gospels from the New Testament is to outline the message of Eternal Salvation, and not to talk about the human qualities of the Apostles (knowing they all had weaknesses).
- The depiction of Judas Iscariot as the the one who betrayed Jesus Christ in the 4 gospels, is only done in a short manner for the understanding of the Biblical context.
- We have to understand that the New Testament was not meant to discredit those who fell into temptation or who killed innocent people, because Jesus came to save the sinners ...But it was meant for showing the specific chain of events during Jesus's time on earth, starting with the Genealogy of Jesus Christ, the birth of Jesus Christ, and continuing with the events that led to His death and resurrection.
- Most secular folks who might watch this video, didnt read the New Testament. How would anyone be able to understand the difference between what this video claims and the reality of the Bible?

If you are going to see this, I personally agree with Judas alot and he is so knowledgeable but even the demons know more about the world and God than most humans do. They know what God can do to them if they did not obey him but they are way too stubborn. They won't listen. There is no hope inside their hearts that they could be good. It is all despair, revenge and anguish. They want to use God's kindness to do evil things and get forgiven but God knows them very well. Most smart people are supposed to be in hell or a devil's servant. Their pride would probably lure them to do other sins. Like envy, lust, wrath, and etc. They can also be manipulative for their own good. Judas is also being damned in hell now. He could have been saved if he did not commit suicide. But he is really possessed by satan. Suicide is not really a way. You can't just end your life there 'cause you'll end up being damned.

The Gospel of Judas Iscariot was "banned" from the Bible because God chose what books to include, and the book that is accredited to Judas was not among them. That's all there is to it. But since four eyewitnesses testify to Judas hanging himself before ANY gospels were written, then the best we can say about this "Gospel" (which is no gospel at all) is that it is apocryphal and of little benefit if any at all.
