External antennas making a comeback! I'm still using my Cingular phone I got probably 4 years ago, maybe 5. It was one, if not the one advertised in the famous "idk my bff jill" commercial. When I take a paperclip and put it on the antenna, it usually boosts my signal 1-2 bars :D

but if the antennas are on the outside and big and stuff wont they be worse for you/your brain or something? you do really need soo many more pixels, is it really gonna be that amazing?

I have been using iphone 4 for the past 1 week, never had any antenna problems. i even tested holding the sides.. no problems.. (vodafone, australia network)

at no. 5 was very confusing! I've heard and read about more issues regarding that antenna than people praising it. so which is right?

If you don't own an iPhone, don't talk bad about it. I have an iPhone 4 and I love it! I havent had any problems with it so far, and I got it about 5 weeks ago.

People REALLY need to stop complaining about the iPhone reception problems. I've had mine for about a week with no problems and love it! People just want to hear themselves be heard. Most people don't care if they have to move their hand up an inch when they make a call (even though you really don't need to). This is being exaggerated.
