Been there, done that. I used to carry a long bar to tap the starter until I could fix the problem.

I cannot figure out my car's flickering issue. Battery is testing good. The alternator is reading 14.05 volts on my multimeter. I replaced the terminals and a broken ground strap. It is running and starting good but still flickering. No battery light. The alternator is not even a year old. The starter is about 5 years old. It must have a electrical issue that is beyond my ability to fix.

My headlights flickered/ strobed on a 1998 Toyota Camry. Replaced bulbs, relays, module control & checked electrical grounds... Permanently fix flickering by installing a custom built 230 amp alternator. Problem solved

My 03 GMC ENVOY SLT would not start. Checked, found couple of bad fuses under the hood. Had battery tested was fine. Replaced starter it worked. But now, when I turn on my heater fan it wants to die or bogg then recovers. Intermittent. Had an issue with a loose negative on battery but I replaced bolt. Where should I start looking?

My car dashboard light flicker. Speedometer, acceleration, fuel, temperature gauge all will go down and comes back to normal. Look like car goes dead and come back to life. I'm checking my alternator tomorrow if it can solve the problem

Main Seal is shot but I'm more worried about the starter .. wow.. you'd spend more on keeping oil in it. And we pay more on gas prices because of you lol
