This was a great video, but I tried everything. Changed the starter out, battery, alternator, relays, solenoid, fuses, new ground, kicked the bird out that had nested in under the hood, ran a new wiring harness, put a new stereo in, even that didn’t do it, come to find out, Wrong key. I was using the key to my Dodge Ram. No wonder the Subaru wouldn’t start. Crazy. Thanks for the video though. 👍👍

I’m extremely late to the party. I drive a vw beetle and this trick worked! My car wasn’t starting, I moved the connector around even though it looked perfectly fine and my car cut on. Thank you for this!

Glad i watched this lmaoo all i had to do twist the bolt tighter it was too loose haha & it turned right no problem, I was about to buy a whole new alternator smh I would've been pissed

In case this solution doesnt help, try to get someone to help in case you are alone. Then push the car as fast as possible, and if you have enough momentum, start the engine. It worked out for me and maybe it'll help you aswell. God bless yall

As a single woman with no dad or husband I come straight to Youtube or Google for help. Sometimes I wished I was a mechanic. This video gave me hope that it may not be something major to worry about but if isn't the battery what can be the other indicators of this problem?

Happened that my car started tonight from work.. but when I went outside with friends the battery slowly died.. I pushed it with my friends and it stared.. but the battery wasn’t charging up.. tried to start it with my dad’s car, it started but then it died again.. i don’t know if it’s the alternator not working or just the battery

Hello. I have a 2013 Honda Accord EX. It has the same problem!! I changed the battery, the starter, the alternator and even put in new spark plugs...but the problem still persists!! The stalling/not starting is very random. The most recent incident happens this past weekend when I stopped to pump gas at a local Sam's Club. After finished pumping the gas, the vehicle wouldn't start, and stall there at the pump for a long time until I got help to push it to a parking space so people behind me to pump their gas. After 30 minutes of inactivity, I pressed the start button, and it turned on as normal, and I was able to drive home. What's wrong with this model and year??? Is it a keyless access control unit and software issue??? HELP!!
