In the comics, Lex Luthor isnt pure evil. He truly believes that killing Superman is how he saves the planet. He truly believes he's doing the right thing, no matter how fucked up it is

Doomsday is actually broken from his backstory, he was a baby that kept being sent out to be killed and then revived, they were trapped in some dome and the outside world was just fucked, I think he wws killed as a baby like over 50 times

Joker actually has two personalities that makes them cause all this, the good one which is his original personality and the bad one which is the Joker personality.

Deathstroke has a reason to become Deathstroke since he did got mistreated by his master and lost his son.
