Simple truth is, it’s not healthy to be fat, and mentally, it’s not healthy either.

When they asked her back "if she has any health issues" and she said "no" was the fattest lie I have ever heard

You don't have to justify your existence, but you absolutely have to justify your position in the debate. That's the entire point of it.

Plan A- body positivity
Plan B- shame the skinny ones
Plan C- victimhood

It ain't fat shaming. It's called being honest.

At my biggest I was 292. I lost 100lbs by getting out and moving, stopped drinking pop, started eating healthy and have maintained that. I am now switching careers and going into the nutrition feild to help others make the same choices I did. I have experienced much less knee pain, less issues while walking and I can run again without feeling pain. I am happier, and it has lead me to a point i am no longer wallowing in self pity and depression on a daily basis.

She knew she was wrong so she refused to answer the question

She wasn't born in a 'bigger body'. It is an accumulation of excess baggage.

She didn't ask her to justify. She just asked a valid question re her health.

It's really hard to remain a fat acceptance activist when many don't make it past 40.

What she meant to say is she doesn't go to a doctor to find out what's wrong with her.

I've been fat, skinny and fat again and this heavy woman is in total denial of her health and level of happiness.

We are constantly being asked to validate other people's life choices and if we don't validate them, we are told we are disrespectful and/or ignorant. It's none of my business what life choices you make and I don't need to validate you. If you are happy - fantastic and good for you. If you are unhappy - you need to change your life choices.

She's denying her health issues just like she's denying that she's obese.
