Just shoot the way that feels natural and comfortable. The key is to not be conscious of your shooting. Dont throw a brick at your head just try and focus on the game when you play against people, stop thinking about how your shooting form is. All you should be thinking in a game is how to score, where to pass it for your team mate, or how to get to the rim. MAKE IT NATURAL. Its like forcing it, don't think about it much

Another tip I think everyone should think of is keeping your elbow aligned with the goal and keep it at 90 degrees. Pause at 3:21 and look at the arm he shoots with. This is a good tip in my opinion because it allows your shot to remain straight all the way through.

I'm an ex pro- now coaching in Finland and running my own bball camps here. I've been watching a lot of videos from guys trying to find better ways of breaking down shooting components. Your video is damn good man. Only thing I would add is (eyes/elbow). A lot of young players are aiming wrong. Plus don't have their elbow aligned properly. Anyway- good stuff. Thank you very much for this video. I watched so many videos to improve my shooting and it kept getting better and better. As soon as I finished this video I threw a shot from close or right at 3pt distance at my home basketball hoop. I missed, but then I focused, took the same position, combined all of the tips I’ve learned, the most important ones from this video, put my shooting hand more to the right, had a firm grip with my finger tips, kept my stance natural, and was able to perfectly shoot the ball, a perfect shot into the basket, my furthest successful skill based shot, leaving my day off on a good note.
