It’s all about consistency, muscle memory. Find a shot that feels comfortable and easy to get into every time.

I’ve been playing all my life and I’ve seen all kinds of shots. I think something about your personal physiology determines your shot looks. If you don’t tell a kid how to shoot he/she kinda finds their own shot if they play a lot. Repetition, confidence and arc seem to be the most important factors in a good shooter.

I've always said whatever goes in keep doing it. Looks don't matter

Physics and anatomy determine everyones individual best shooting form, thats why a set form isnt always best.

Klays got the perfect form not just hands but hes always so square and balanced when he shoots

The most important part is getting to the point where your upper arms are perpendicular with your body, pointed toward the basket and your elbows are bent at right angles. Every great shooter, you can take a frame from their shooting motion where they get to that position.

Klay is what every coach in history tries to teach their players. It’s genuinely the perfect textbook shot.

Everyone else is good shooters not because of perfect form, but because they shoot the ball tens of thousands of times in the exact same motion and the muscle memory won’t let them miss

MJ'S shooting form was text book.

It all depends on your anatomy tbh, super long arms/short arms, big hands / small hands
Broad shoulders etc

Klay Base + Steph Form = Automatic Shooter

Genuinely it’s footwork. Watch his feet when he does all of these forms his footwork doesn’t change. A solid base builds a solid form. I’ve seen so many people who struggle because of bad footwork that leads to other bad tendencies
