This is amazing! If I was told in 1995 that I could watch allen huston talk directly at me and teach me how to shoot the basketball I'd piss my pants. Great content! MAny kids that grew up years ago just played ball without coaching, making all the possible mistakes and getting unnecesarily injured. Nowadays you can do it right, all you need is an internet connection and you are on your way to try and make your dreams come true. We live in a great world and should appreciate it.

I hit 4 (24 hour fitness) 3’s in a row after watching this video and couldn’t really shoot at all before. Even the ones I missed looked way more accurate. Watched the video in my car before the gym practiced for 30mins and played. Thanks!

I’m a total beginner was making maybe 2 of 10 free throws. Simply watching this excellent video and practicing the shooting form increased my free throw percent up to 50%

I'm here because Allan Houston was and still is my favorite basketball player ever. He never got the recognition he deserves and I'm glad that after years of me explaining to anyone who would listen that he had (and still has) the prettiest shot in basketball.... it's no surprise they asked him to do this tutorial.

Like 20 years back a got a Training packet from Kickz with a Nike Ball plus a Shooting Turorial Video with Allan Houston. Without beeing in a club I developed a solid shooting style (midrange), which is still my greatest weapon today on the Court.

Thank you very much, Allan!!!

Blessings from Germany!

He’s a great teacher. Allan Houston was probably an excellent high school /college student given how meticulous he is with the details of good shooting form

I definitely think he had the sweetest jumpshot in the game. Now it’s Klay

Before Ray Allen there was Allan Houston. One of the best pure shooters of the 90's.

One of the best pure shooters to ever grace the hardwood.

An absolute favourite memory of mine from the late 90s era is when he hit that shot against Miami. This guy to me represents the NBA on NBC from back in the day, I’d be lazing on the couch all day Saturday and Sunday watching 5 games back to back (always starting with Toronto at 12:30 PM and finishing with the Lakers at 10:30 PM), while my mom yelled at me to clean my room. I miss that NBA.
