Dude, I love your optimism. I always feel kinda happy with the results I get from Fiverr, if you set your expectations realistic, you will always be satisfied and grateful with the outcome.

next time you make a ranking at the end, you can incorporate the LOGOS they made. It just makes sense cuz you have to assume that the audience is forgetful. Remind them of what they saw.

It only occurred to me upon seeing the 3d render at 8:37 that this logo features every letter of SESO, thanks to the hexagon.
“S” is obvious
the “E” can be either seen as the hexagon, minus the two rightmost sides, *or* as a lowercase using the parts of the “S” that curve inward, and the hexagon forms the “O”

$100 is super super cheap. $5 is slavery, it doesn't even pay back the cost to even create something...
Like with anything, it comes to the value, like paying $120 shoes, some of us will find it cheap or worth it other will find it too expensive.
If you value yourself, you can't go cheap. Imagine branding yourself and your 220k subscribers with a $100 logo...
It's like having a lamborghini engine running on a 2005 Nissan Sentra. Your logo represents your brand, it's literally the first thing we see and as the saying goes "the first impression is the last impression", you don't want to appear with some cheap logo barely vectorized properly with a font that doesn't work and many many other mistakes.
Human beings judge with their eyes, which is why the looks are important in some aspects, you could very well lose against your competitor just because the website or the logo looks better and for some reason, makes you feel safer or funnier or any emotion you want people to feel when looking at you.

So again, $100 is VERY cheap for a logo, let alone $5 logos. The tax etc, the guy only gets $3... If anything, this makes him pay you to make YOUR logo....
