I paid 5 designers on Fiverr and Etsy to design the SAME logo (and here’s what happened)

So this was interesting... I hired 5 designers on Fiverr and Etsy to design the same logo for me… and here’s what happened. Since my new brand is very NEW, I wanted to be smart with investing and I did not want to spend a ton on logo design. So what's the best place to get a cheap logo design? Fiverr and Etsy, of course! In this video, I do my first impressions of FIVE designers' work for a logo. I gave each person the SAME instructions and they all designed a logo based on what I said.

I like the first designer, but their second design. It gives me the feel of easy like honey but also like there's going to be strategy involved because of the linear feel of the honey :)

I have a bachelor in design and every time I came across people making a living by slapping images they found online in a commercial logo, not only they are discrediting themselves but also risking a copyright infringement to the client too.

these guys used images from google and added them to a free logo builder software and then sold it for 30 bucks . damn they should not be allowed to sell logos . they put their clients business in a danger for violating copyrights

As a graphic designer with studies, I feel offended by this logos haha they broke all the rules of logo designing and nothing good came out of them 🤷‍♂️😅

In my opinion the first ones for $5 were the best ones. I am a designer and from my experience, designers that have an interesting approach to work and that give hi-res results tend to lower their price down. I worked for free so much and when I was about to get my first decent salary I would lower my price a lot so that my stakeholders are happy with what they get and how much they pay.

I'd feel so disappointed with all of these. I could work with the first designer though. The others just don't work as logos at all! Font choices don't work together, the details won't minimise well and let's not even talk about those awful illustrations.

I am a designer and the issue with these logos is that none of them understand the basics of typography, color theory, and symmetry. Not only that, water color/clip art does not translate well if you want to use your logo over video, static images, or on a shop marquee. These are all very bad honestly 😢

Honestly all of these are so bad lol the best one was the second option from the $5 one. The problems with the etsy ones are that they are going to be hard to scale down and hard to use across different things/backgrounds. The gradient in the last one makes it have a cheap/tacky look.

May I know why people are being so harsh. I’m a student studying graphic design. Seeing such a toxic comment section appalls me, none of the logos were perfect however cut them some slack.

8:27 this part is quite good, just try change the typeface, it's quite boring there. and 8:49 is actually quite good too. The designer not present it quite well so the client seem ambiguous.
