Should You Remove Copyright Claims On YouTube? 🤔

I got the question recently about whether or not you should remove copyright claims on your YouTube channel.

Personally, I don’t play around with copyright at all! Whether its a copyright strike or a copyright claim, I want nothing to do with that.

So in my opinion, remove it right away!

What I find that is so annoying about this whole copyright thing is that, so I’ve been making edits for a while now, debate edits or versus edits, and there are so many people making these with these audios that belong to other people, however when I do it, I give credit and do everything I can and they still give me a copyright claim. YouTube I know also has favoritism on here and will copyright who they please, most of the time small creators who are trying to thrive and actually give YouTube more of an audience.

I've often seen that people steal other people's videos and YouTube doesn't do anything, but if you use a song(and you don't know that its copyright)and write down the name of the song, you get a copyright claim. I can't understand YouTube anymore

Im quite young, so i cant just contact the artists of the song, i use for an edit, i wanted to upload. It got copyright claimed right away and did not get uploaded bc of it. The music is very important, and the edit is off of the song, so i cant either mute it or use another song ):

Is it safe to just delete the video with the claim? I have gotten a few copyright claims, but i just deleted the videos and reuploaded them with different audio, so do you know if there is anything else i should do

It really depends on what you took. If you’re doing a lot and have music playing in the back. Keep it. I have a few videos that are copyrighted and the person put ads on them. I don’t delete it because it’s making them money. It might make them mad if I did..😅

I keep getting False Copyright ID Claims in which the music claimed doesn't even exist in my video.

Then I've had people claim music as their own, despite me being in contact with the original composer and them allowing me to use it.
