ASUS sent over their ROG OLED Master Kit for us to check out. Sure, the monitor seems great. And there's always a use for a monitor arm. But is this enough to finally sell Plouffe on using a light bar?

Purchases made through some store links may provide some compensation to Linus Media Group.

It's annoying how the price of OLED monitors isn't going down, they just keep adding more crap. I don't want a 480hz monitor, I just want one that doesn't cost more than my PC.

No one:
Absolutely no one:
Plouffe: It’s been about 3 days since I reviewed the last *one better* monitor, now there’s this *two better* monitor that made me realize I absolutely don’t need but still want it, so to no one’s surprise I already bought it.

Having to enable the extra power delivery in the menu is to keep their power draw estimates low (like for energy star rating in the USA).

Theres no way they actually designed the light bar to sit on the monitor like that

*edit: I just watched the ROG installation video and yeah that's really how to install it. How stupid

At 11:07 with the camera guy moving in, I seriously thought it was his arm reaching for the tree ornaments on the screen. I've not even had a beer today.

The light Bar on QD-OLED monitors it's insane...

One of the main problems of QD-OLED monitors is direct light. Quantum dot layer don't like direct light because black start looking a purple. When you buy QD-OLED you need to control brightness of your room. And here we have f*ucking lantern that light direct into monitor. Even on video you can see that black color actually looks like purple.

8:06 love it, you are talking about the anti reflective coating while we can see your hand in the monitor reflection like you were waving in front of a mirror

That monitor arm is like 240€ holy sh*t.
Arctic has monitor arms with similar features and carry capacity for less than 50.

$200 for essentially a strip of RGB LED that I can get for you know... $10? Truly lives up to the name of Republic of Scammers

What I really hate is the LED bump of the Asus logo right under the screen, I absolutely hate that and is genuinely a deal breaker

Maybe the 65W limit is for energy efficiency regulations, just like the default brightness and hdr off?

Adding useless bags, boxes or fancy shiny metallic "thank you elite game" is happening when you're charging ridiculous prices and wanna increase it even more. Don't get why a bag is needed or adds any value for a monitor. You probably have it in your hands once. That's it. Couldn't care less.

I just got my PG32UCDP and I don't think I've ever been more impressed with a monitor, super happy

4:07, they're supposed to be handles; the foam sleeve you remove the display from has two hand pictures with arrows pointing to the sides, indicating that's how you remove it from the box.
