Samsung Dryer Time Changes to 1 Minute and Stops, Fixed. Model#DV45H7000EW/A2

I show how I fixed my Samsung Dryer Model#DV45H7000EW/A2 that was only running for a short time, changing dry time to a minute, and then turning off. Only happened on the dryer modes that are in orange and indicating it's using Sensor Dry.

Thank You Justin!!..Dryer was shutting down so I believed it was the vent pipes blocked, which I replaced. The problem reoccurred immediately on the first load which was frustrating to say the least. I was troubleshooting, saw your post, so I checked and there was the dryer sheet stuck in the moisture sensors. Great post, easy to follow, and the clean vents are a bonus.

😮 I just found you video this morning because I woke up to damp clothes! I set it again this morning for the usual cycle “normal”, come back down after an hour and STILL DAMP! I emptied out some clothes and casually found the dryer sheet in that same spot, took it out, but paid no mind. I set it to the time dry…hopefully it works later. Thank you SO much for enlightening us. 💪🏼

I was having the same problem with my dryer for months. I replaced every sensor and still had this problem. I gave up for awhile and just used the dryer on manual mode. Today I found your video and sure enough I cleaned the two metal sensors that I didn't realize that they were there. Pulled them out cleaned them off put them back in my dryer is now finally fixed and works on the normal settings just fine. Ty👍

Thank you Justin. The dryer sheet was covering the moisture sensor as you described, having hung up on the frame. Removed it, cleaned the sensor metal strips and good to go! Very much appreciated!

Queen size comforter was too damp for wife, , , dryer kept cutting off....Turned dial to right side ( timer settings ) solved problem....I can go back to bed now lol....Your video saved the night....Thanks

Thank you, God bless you, I solved the problem. I turned it on without clothes, that's why it turned off after a few minutes. When I watched your video, I realized that sensor without clothes, it turns off when wet.

Thank you for this video. This is my second samsung dryer as I moved and left other dryer cause got serviced but continued to do this. I was just told dont use dryer sheets but wasnt told why. thought it was malfunction and didnt want to take headache with me. Damn. Exact same thing that is happening with mine. You said everything that I said by 0:12. You've got it together. Now, let's see how you solved it -- if you did. Okay, I didn't see anything. I blew air through the area, and there was some lint. But, I didn't see anything blocking it. So, not sure that I have the same problem. Still, thank you for this video.

Omggg your a life saver..I have the exact same dryer and was overwhelmed all day cause first my phone was acting up, then all day today my dyer.. that I love soo much.. sooo there was no sheet stuck but after cleaning out the left over lint, vent, and wiping down the silver little bars.. dryer back running like new. Your awesome!!!! Lifesaverrrt
