Quick video of me mouth breathing. Also showing you how to clean the sensor bars of most cloths dryers. Some models are in the rear bulkhead rather than the front by the lint filter housing.

My issue was the drum was spinning too fast and the clothes were not tumbling. I checked the motor and saw the pulley was wound up with belt string. This causes the pulley to grow and the drum to spin faster. This left my clothes slightly damp. Also it helped solve the timmer from jumping down from 36 minutes to 6 minutes. Both issues solved. 😊👍

Use isopropyl alcohol on a small piece of cloth first before using a harsher method like a scouring pad etc. alcohol on a piece of old towel worked for me.

Hopefully this is the fix! I had checked the vent tube all the way to outside and there was definitely some lint built up at the flapper end of the tube restricting how much it opened but the dryer was still shutting off well before the clothes were dry.

I have a GE dryer and the sensor bars look much like yours - 2 metal bars right up front under neath the air vent inside the dyer tumbler. My dryer, on the auto-dry setting, just leaves clothes slightly damp, even at the hottest heat setting "regular". Does this fix address that problem?

Can you please help me? I have a Bosch with sensors like yours. Mine is wtw87568it. It has a problem since I've got it 5yrs ago. It's a heat pump Serie 8. It never stops cycles. Even for very small loads it takes 3 or more hours and it recalculate the times over and over again. I disassembled the whole machine and cleaned it all (even the condenser). But I still have the same problem. Even if I set iron dry. The point is that the clothes, even heavy clothes, are dry in 1 hour and 30/40 minutes. So I can only use the timed program. And that's a huge limit for an 8 series Bosh. Mine has more than 11.000 hours of work (I use it a lot). It lasted more than a Miele. But I still don't know how to fix this issue. I hope it's not the motherboard (PCB). Thank you if you can help me out

Can you please tell me what settings you used on the meter? Continuity? 20 Ohms, 200 Ohms? You have THE ONLY video that shows an actual test of that sensor. ALL the rest are about replacing it. I'm tired of replacing, replacing and replacing items that are NOT the reason why my gas dryer continues to cut off after 3 seconds. I've replaced everything but the $150 control panel and the moisture sensor. PLEASE HELP!

Drew, when you say auto cycle shuts off too soon because of the sensor, is it the heat is no longer on and the drum stops turning, or does the drum continue to turn without heat until the time set is done?? Thx
