Vegan Soy Chunks Chicken Pot PIe

1/2 onion, sliced
1 cup carrots, chopped into small cubes
1 cup daikon radish, chopped into small cubes
2 bay leaves
5-6 mushrooms, sliced
1 cup string beans, chopped
1-2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons non-dairy yogurt or soy milk
vegan puff pastry (250 grams)
2 tablespoons cornstarch
parsley, garnish

What a great idea, separating topping from pie filling! Looks so delicious. Summer is clinging on for dear life here--not complaining, because it's the mild form, with sunny skies and moderately warm temps--but when it gets nippy in a few weeks, I'm making this for sure! TFP : )

Really nice recipe! Just FYI Americans can get vegan ready-made puff pastry by Pepperidge Farm :) Not as cheap as in Germany, but only around 4 bucks.

Hey there! I thought I'd stop by to make a weird request and suggestion. I'm still brainstorming the shrimp/seafood idea, can you check the comments for an old videos of yours about Chinese chive shrimp dumplings? I replied to someone with some ideas like monkey head mushroom for crab replacement. Also, sauce stauce did a video on methyl cellulose, which is probably the key to Vegan shrimp, because it's big ingredient in a lot of packaged foods. Sure it's not natural but hey, real natural shrimp are a big source of harm, I think methyl cellulose is probably safer for everyone involved than shrimp farming.
