I've made your pot pie for two Thanksgivings (I SWEAR you've had this recipe up for that long!). It's the best pot pie I've ever had. There is never any leftovers, and my meat-eating brothers asked for this instead of the turkey last year! Your shephards pie is also the bomb. You are the best vegan cook on YouTube!

For anyone curious: the reason plant milk and vegan butter are substituted so easily in a recipe like this is because you're mainly using them to add water and fat as opposed to using the specific properties of dairy.

Milk is mostly water with about 10-20% fats, proteins, and sugars. Butter is mostly fat emulsified together through the butter making process. Replacing them with plant milk (mostly water with similar ratios of the other stuff) and vegan butter (fat emulsified with a non-dairy emulsifier) means they perform the exact same function in this recipe as their dairy counterparts.
