On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

Big thank you to everyone for watching and a big thank you to shotgun for flying the Viper for this viper, turns out the harrier can be super annoying if you do the whole viffing thing, if we used fox2's in this fight things might have been a little more interesting, maybe for a future video. Thanks for watching guys, Much Love.

You know what I'd love? After fights like this, maybe in a separate video, a discussion between you and whoever you're facing talking about the fight and hearing each of your thoughts on the fight, and the planes.

The Harrier can actually be surprisingly competent in a dogfight when its paired with its fox 2's. I've surprised a lot of people with it

My two favorite planes? In one video?? Dogfighting each other??? Today is indeed a good day.

Also I don’t think people give you enough props for just how calm you stay in your fights, I know in my head that you gotta be working like crazy to make these planes do things they probably shouldn’t be able to do, but even when there’s an f-16 barreling down at you literally with it’s guns blazing, you sound like its just a normal Tuesday flight with nothing going on, it’s incredibly impressive.

F-35 strike package vs. MiG-29s Please!

Takes place in mountainous terrain, with the F-35s at cruise altitude, and the MiGs coming in through a valley, with radar off. Everything starts as soon as the F-35s notice them, which should be very close. The MiGs are of course trying to get as close as possible before switching radars on and engaging.

Simulating the reds having a tactical intel advantage.

From what remember from reading "Sharky" Ward's book, the 801 sqd would fight the Sea Harrier with the nozzles only slightly set, not more than 30 degrees, but that was the "fighting configuration". The other thing was the FRS1 had slightly better low speed handling than the GR1/GR3

Playing with your nozzle while flying is discouraged... unless you're a marine.

The Harrier is an interesting concept that if redesigned and modernized into a new airframe perhaps could be a great dogfighter.

In this (and several other videos) I would urge a change of tactics - when he STARTS to pull away in the deck rate fight immediately turn the opposite way to create a one circle. While he is still at your one or two o'clock. Just waiting for him to outrate you and hoping you can VIFF is so passive. It's not just in the Harrier, it's in so many planes. You just wait to be outrated instead of turning hard the opposite way. And especially in the Mirage vs F-16, if he's rating right, pull hard left and give him something to worry about.

After watching the Hazard Lee video the other day the average pilot would be seriously hard pressed to survive five minutes of dog fighting. After two to three minutes of high G maneuvers that dudes heart rate was like he was sprinting. Those real life fighter pilots are some real deal athletes. No question about it

The harriers coolant is deminaralised water and its gravity fed, she hates going inverted so master caution was possibly that

Great fight, makes me wonder what could have been the Harrier had it been improved.

Really like the engagements that show what should be a superior aircraft going against a less capable one. It really illustrates how much is in the hands of the pilot themselves. ;)

That giant red arrow pointing at the little scorch mark on the Viper's engine was amusingly passive-aggressive lolololol.
