I cheated in my online tests during online classes cause I was secretly reading my notes, using a calculator and kept on searching the answer in the internet

Poor explaining on the swimming side of things. It's not about how many kicks unless u are swimming BREAST STROKE - in which competitors are allowed ONLY one underwater dolphin kick- The dude cheated by using 3 underwater kicks at a BREAST STROKE race instead of one. Otherwise every other stroke - which IS NOT breast stroke - you are allowed to kick as many times as you like ... The only limitation is that you do not exceed the 15m mark ... i.e u are supposed to break the surface within that 15m or face disqualification... It's a bit misleading the way you explained it... Cz at 2:23 we see everyone doing more than 3 kicks.

I wouldn't consider a 14 year old cheating against 16 year olds.

So from my experience as being a gymnast, younger for a very very long time was considered better. In the beginning with women's gymnastics it was adult women and gymnastics wasn't nearly as hard. But then Bela Karolyi came around and it switched to very young girls because they were easier to control and had a much easier time doing everything because of their size, it was also better to be young because you wouldn't go through puberty until you were 16. Nadia Comaneci was the first gymnast to get a 10 at the olympics and she was 14... they eventually made the rule because it was smarter and it better interest for the girls. But the older you are, the more you grow (which can throw you off of your skills for over a year) and the harder the sport is on your body (the less pounding it can take). This is why most female gymnasts in america are 15 turning 16 the year of the olympics. Simone is another story and she's just the best there ever will be and has put more of the solid muscle gymnast (but even that hasn't been around for that long)

4:32 why tf are u showing a ballet dancer while talking about gymnastics they are literally 2 very different sports.

Edit: Idk what the internet or professionals say, but most dancers consider dancing a sport so that is what I am going to call it. Please don’t assume anything about the two if you have not done them. In comparison, saying dance and gymnastics are similar would be like saying football and soccer are similar. I did gymnastics for 7 years, and my sister took dance for a few years. I can tell you we both came home exhausted and sweaty and sore after practice. Yes ballet is an art, but it can also be considered a sport. Stop arguing about it in the comments if you have never done either.

at 2:10 you didn't explain the best: how it works is that on the specific stroke breastroke, you are allowed to do a "pullout", (you can't do this in any other stroke) when you turn or dive in. The pullout consists of one singular dolphin kick (which is allowed multiple times on other strokes), followed by a push from your arms (think of it as an arm circle) then a breaststroke kick. Van Der Burgh bent the rules by doing multiple breaststroke kicks, while only being allowed one.

Wait a minute, 5:30 she was two years younger than the youngest girl was allowed to be. So she should have been celebrated. She was schooling grown women while she was still a child! Let her keep the damn medals at least.

What did the mark on Marion Jones’ neck have to do with anything? It’s literally why I clicked

The Chinese gymnast being a couple years younger isn't what I would call cheating. It wasn't as if she benefitted for being a couple years younger or even had any advantage against other competitors.
