Going through this at the moment I think. For about 4 months. As I’m dozing off my body becomes instantly alert and I get this butterflies/rollercoaster feeling like something is chasing me. I get hypnic jerks and get very vivid night terrors. Sometimes my body forces me awake and I also get very intense sleep paralysis. My heart rate has calmed down. It’s wild. Hope I get better soon. Went to doc’s and they said I’m perfectly healthy. I run 30 miles a week and have a relatively healthy diet.

I have noticed I am in the Parasympathetic, Rest and Digest . What has helped me, calming myself, Rest and Digest* .
*It helped where I'm not stressed like I have. I'm more laid back, which I appreciate . And spending time with Granddaughters,
who's so much fun to be around with.
I was in the Sympathetic for many years and believe me, it's no fun .

*TC Rules* - Excellent as usual. The Pulse Pressure Formula, really interesting marker. Breath rate too. My studies, the Autonomic Nervous System, para and symp, and we never heard of this. Thanks! ; )

This can be quite overwhelming.

I've been waking up with headaches for the past 3 days. The same thing happened to me at the beginning of last year after a series of nosebleeds that finally needed cauterization. The morning headaches eventually went away but now they're back and quite a bit more intense. It throbs first thing in morning then subsides quite a bit throughout the day. But I'm tired all day. I decided to check bp this morning only after having a glass of kefir. BP was so low at 88/60. So that gives me a pulse pressure of 28. I know you're not supposed to take it first thing and wait for 2 hrs after a meal but I didn't know that til I watched a few of these videos. But still, it doesn't seem like BP should be that low right outta bed. And it's def not normal to wake up w/excruciating headaches.

But then I ate, waited about an hour and a half and took my BP again. It was 121/78 giving me a pulse pressure of 43.

Why would someone have such low BP in the morning? And can headaches be caused by low BP?

THERES WAY MORE TO IT! Mine is firing my nervous system making my body the enemy, its on fire making my BP all over the place, pain bodywide, and HIGH D3 +K2 for ever 10, 000 iu's of D3 to help...vitamin C in large doses, omega 3's as well, PLUS B complex and extra B12!

Okay weird question….
Could a chronic parasympathetic state be a long term adaptive response by the body to dial things down… from chronic stress / hypervigilance / childhood trauma? Have been told since my 20’s that I've got low blood pressure, slow heart rate, etc. but absolutely feel wired too… have digestive issues, etc… but have been hypervigilant since my traumatic birth. Hard to get me going most days. Wired but exhausted! Such an overlap of symptoms…! Thanks in advance.

Adding salt does fix my depression. But then i start feeling too anxious. How do i add salt and not get into this sympathetic imbalance? I always overshoot.

The issue I am facing is that I have both high and low BP as well as pulse rate(can go to as high as 135 and then be as low as 32) and oxygen levels are also dipping down. I also feel like I have constipation or atleast bowels that are not fully emptying. I also get headaches head pressure and dizziness/vertigo so I am not quite sure what is going on and if there is any help

Is it safe to take lactobacillus probiotics for people with anxiety issues? Do those strains also increase lactic acid in the body?

Wonder how many of us feel we’re in sympathetic dominance since 2020?
