First Range Test with the DJI Phantom 3 Advanced in CE mode.
CE mode its not as powerful as the FCC mode so the range its not that good but not bad too, in the fact i think CE mode could go above 3km very easy... :)

Great video!  Don't we have to somehow turn on FCC mode or something?  I remember on the Phantom 2 I had to do something with the remote control to enable it or something.

Love your phantom videos, they are hugely informative and helpful. I am facing a bit of a moral dilemma regarding which model of the Phantom 3 to buy and was hoping you could offer your opinion for me. 

I am an ametuer filmmaker and makes films to upload to YOUTUBE. I have owned a Phantom 1 was but was disappointed because the Original Hero camera that I used on it didn't give me a high enough quality to actually use in video. I don't want to make that same mistake again... 

So will the camera on the Phantom 3 advanced be decent enough for me to actually be able to use it in video?

And if I was to get a professional, the 4K gets downscaled to 1080p on youtube correct? Yet it still a far better quality than any other 1080P video on youtube, how does that work?

Hi great video and good comments. Please tell me how your getting over the 500m distance.

I have a p3 advance bought from he Apple Store in uk. I'm guessing it's on the CE regulations when flying. As soon as I get to 500m the thing stops and says maximum distance reached. This is even in open ground. People go on about how far they can fly but how is this possible when the maximum is 500m please answer this

Can you still fly it if you are surrounded by tall trees ?
I want to buy P3 but where I live got tall trees around my home tall as high  50 feet and I have some opening, can I take off vertically to go above the trees, can I do that and move away meaning traveling distance after clearing the trees ? Thank you in advance
