I got that second rifle and it shoots really fast and accurate. Only problem is that the tac-rail on the bottom is vulnerable to falling off due to wear and tear, and the rear end of the upper receiver is held in place by plastic. I found this out after slipping in some mud and dropping the gun, which broke the plastic holding the rear end of the upper receiver in place. It’s fixable, but not without a significant loss of quality.

I have the Cyma it’s super solid and stick with .25 bbs and a 9.6 nimh battery is super solid for a beginner but you do gotta be careful with it to not break the externals

Hey man, I want to thank you so much for this video. I watched a few months ago when I was thinking about starting airsoft. I first wanted the Cyma, thinking it would be good but accidentally broke it trying to do a mod. I came back to this video about two weeks ago and decided to try the calico jack. I love the rifle so much and you it’s all because of you. I just want to thank you for both giving me a great lesson to learn, and a great airsoft gun. You were the one who got me into airsoft and without me discovering your channel, I would have never been to Learn what a great sport it is. Even if you don’t read this, I just wanted to thank you.

Specna Arms is also a very good brand. It’s pretty much what everyone in Europe runs, and it’s been getting a lot of respect in the U.S., too. Very good guns. CYMA’s AKs and Platinum M4s are the only thing separating them from just being a “meh” company, so I wouldn’t buy a Sport M4 from them. The other two are fine, though.

I bought the Maple Armouries Blackout, the full-aluminum version of the Marauder, as my first AEG, and I swear by it. An amazing piece of kit all around and my friends love even hearing it.

My first gun was a CYMA Sport, and it has held up for over 2 and a half years of play. It's an awesome gun and I have recommended it to all my friends

I’ve owned the calico jack for about 5 months now and as an honest review to anyone considering it, it’s an AMAZING gun. It’s an amazing starter gun that comes in at a low price that already has a MOSFET which allows you to program trigger sensitivity, 2-5 round burst, and a binary trigger all within 30 seconds. It shoots amazingly out of the box. I’d recommend pairing it up with a 11.1 but a 7.6 will still do fine. Only possible con to this gun I’d say is the limited room in the buffer tube but if you’re able to work past that it’s an absolute STEAL for 180 (polymer) or 250 (metal)

arcturus mk-1 is also an amazing aeg rifle especially with a good battery

I had the Calico Jack, at that thing is the best bang for your buck. It has MOSFET, a selectable binary trigger, and a very reliable gearbox. If you use a 11.1 with it, it will feel just like a “expensive” rifle.

Maple armoury is very good out the box I used to know the owner when he worked at bba he’s cool shot and I’m actually really happy to see how big his brand has gotten

Everyone’s seen the 3/3 seated but another thing that Capac and TFE missed is the thrusters set to override (and it’s not a visual bug, the hydro percent goes down while they are at a standstill)

I’ve been playing airsoft for a year now and I have the calico Jack as my main gun, 175$ built in mosfit and you can change it to binary and burst, VERY good gun

KWA makes some awesome Aeg’s, and for people looking in the 250 to 300 range, I’d recommend the Eve 4 and Eve 9

I really recommend the Arcturus m4 series! The sport m4 version is an amazing choice for $150-175!
