Thanks for this. There is a third method, which is really helpful. You can add "Change case" and "Change text case" to the Quick Access Toolbar. Once you highlight the desired text, you can click on the option you want on the toolbar and use it to change the text.

Any one know how to do this with shortcut keys BUT WITHOUT using F3? I don't have Function keys on my BT keyboard. I know this can be done cannot recall how.
