There used to be a super simple fix for this-in the font section there USED to be a 'Aa' option where you could click on it and choose Upper, Lower, or Mixed case. I have zero idea why this isn't there anymore...it'd be so much easier than going thru the headache of all these formulas.

Hi Leila.. thanks for this video. I have a case where I clean and correct the names with the worksheet functions you mentioned. However, the source comes from a company in Mexico and so they have various accent symbols that I don't want in the finished product. Also, PROPER will dumb down some company references like LLC to Llc. So, after going as far as I can with functions, I use VBA to copy and paste to values and then Search and Replace the accented characters with normal characters, as well as any other corrections (Llc back to LLC, etc.). Thanks to you, I have no problem writing a quick macro to finish the job. Thanks for all of your great instruction and insights. Thumbs up!
