I absolutely love my Giant Schnauzer! He's the best dog I could have ever dreamed of. He's a great farm dog. Does require consistent training throughout its life. You cant get lazy with this breed. They'll outsmart you! ❤

I'm loving that breed, but in the other side in very sedentary. I would love to have one, but seems it is a bad decision for me. It is any chance a female giant schnauer lives with me peacefully? Of course i don't want her to get bored and destroy my things but afraid not not being enough good owner.
Any advice for someone really wanting to own one?

These are not a dog for everyone as they need someone who will work them physically and mentally. Or they will NOT BE GOOD GOG TO KEEP AS THEYLL BE BOREDAND DESTROY your entire home I’ve seen them chewing through walls sofas and many other furniture and home items. These are not a dog for the pet keeper that they’ll only go in the yard. When they need to go to the bathroom. NOT A PET BUT A REl liability if not train properly as the type of drive required for the type of sport these dogs are produced for requires a dog that must be trained and work extreme. They are in the same category as Dutch shepherds. More agile and lots more drive than a belgian malinois. Not an easy dog to keep.
