Imagine if RB20 doesn't work and VCARB becomes the fastest car on the grid 😂

I can't see anything more entertaining than watching Red Bull take Mercede's no-side pod concept to another world championship. Watching Toto lose his mind over 24 races will be glorious.

Red bull is like the smart guy in class, they will lead everyone one way and then just suddenly change the way and leave everyone confused 😂😂

The sound of the RB20 in the video at Silverstone put the fear of god in me

You are right about the tight qualifying levels. Nice to hear someone acknowledge Max and the skills he has. Why is Checo so vulnerable to other teams in the same car? Max was nearly 3/10s going into last sector at Monaco and made it up. Sheer will.

With Hamilton leaving Mercedes next year and IF Red Bull can make the zero pod concept work, I'm predicting Toto will be attending many therapy sessions this year. 😁

Mercedes better stock up on headphones.

Toto seeing Lewis leaving Mercedes, and now he's seeing the zero pod concept being used against him after he threws it.

Man can't catch a break. Bose better makes slam-proof headphone. 😂

Remember back in 2022 when people were saying that Mercedes had won the title just because of their zero pod concept?
Wait until we actually see the times and the cars on track because yeah maybe Redbull have a good car, but maybe the other teams as well.

I don't know what to think, until we see these cars on track it doesn't really matter. In my years in a half of watching F1 it seems everyone has a quickish car over a few laps, but the race pace of the RB19 was off the charts.

The w14 and rb20 are absolutely not the same concept. They have similarities, yes, but the overall goal of where and how the airflows travel and reach the rear of the car are very different.

That thumbnail is Toto shouting, "No! No! Adrien, that's not right!"

(Toto had the best voice in F1)

In a way it makes sense that red bull made their own no-side pod car. Toto allways was adamant that the downforce levels on the mercedes no-side pod car were good, they just couldn't use it effectively due to porpoising.
The advantage red bull had over the rest of the field these last 2 years wasn't so much the aero, it was the suspension to keep the car stable and prevent porpoising. If you're unable to keep your car in the correct position relative to the track then you cannot extract the maximum out of the car. You need good suspension if you want your aero to do what it was designed for.

The better stability of the red bull suspension might just enable red bull to do what mercedes couldn't and actually extract the downforce levels from the no-side pod design that Toto allways claimed were clearly visible in the simulator.
So i can't wait for testing and the 1st race to see if red bull actually delivered where mercedes failed.
All hail king Newey.

I disagree completely that George Russell “got caught up in zhou’s incident”
In fact, I think it’s blatantly obvious that George Russell was the reason that incident happened in the first place. It was his fault, he didn’t get caught up….

Mercedes had the idea right but the platform was wrong (as alluded to by Allison) and also as noticed by all the porpoising. Mercedes talked extensively about how hard it was to set up the car and keep in a window. So while the idea was good they obviously didn't understand it cohesively.

Newey is approaching it differently - they won 22/23 and the car was stable at almost every track. It had great one lap pace and even better race pace. So, I think it’s an easier transition for Newey because he is making modifications to an inherently stable platform. Newey seems to understand the cohesiveness of how all the parts blend.

Mercedes could have kept on with the design but after 2 years they were whipped and they knew it. Their data was all over the place and they were having a hard time drawing inferences between real world results & CAD and aero testing.
