1. Thank you for the GAS reminder. I’ve had to stop looking at all the stuff I don’t have, dig back into your tutorials (like the one for Operator) and remind myself of the power that is under the hood with just good old Ableton.

2. I DEF want 11. I want to mess with MPE in piano roll... and mess with comping... but, the PC that I have won’t support Win10... so, until then... I can’t get Ableton 11. :\ Sad times. Probably going to DL the EXE while I can still get the discount on it and work towards a new PC next year. Sadly, Covid has ravaged my earning potential... as I work in the service industry.

Yes, thanks for posting this little breakdown. Ableton 11 was already in the cards for me because I decided to upgrade to Suite literally on the same day I got the email announcement, so it'll be free for me. And once I looked into a little it was a no-brainer. I saw your comping tutorial and I'm looking forward to getting more insight on the other new features, especially the live components!

Yeah.. I like the take on the new GAS thing. I started with just a Roland Jupiter 6 and a Roland D550 and made a living with those!

As usual, Ableton did a very good job. I'll buy the upgrade, because this is how Ableton gets funds to do its job and eventually provides us this great tool.
Having said that....if I was as good as Max Martin, I'll be even with the oldest DAW in the market....

You're so right regarding Bucephalus Bouncing Ball, still one of the most amazing IDM tracks after all these years. I'm pleased to follow your videos cause I'm not using any plugin on Ableton and prefer to go step by step instead of getting lost with too much knobs and gear...

I got it recently, always had ableton and love playing with the new toys, but have to be honest despite years of remixing and DJing with it, i have always been very bad with scales, so for me the new scales feature in the midi rack is probably my favourite addition alongside the reverb.
