Qi Gong/ Chi Kung is a practice similar to Tai Chi but easier to learn and highly effective to increase energy, reduce stress, and promote healing.
Qi gong is a combination of deep breathing, stretching, moving exercises, and holding postures. It is a moving meditation as much as it is a physical exercise.
This is a general introduction to to the concept of qigong and how it can help you. It is based on the concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture and has been practiced for centuries.

It is a little bit of a long video but it is part of the the new Qi Gong routine found here

Thanks for the introduction to Qigong. I’ve been practicing for about 7 years, every day, and still got a lot from this video. I watch and follow videos to do my practice. I have 4 routines and do each for three consecutive days then move on to next routine. This is to keep it from getting monotonous and to work in different ways. I really enjoy it. I’m 73 years old and this is the only exercise that I have ever done consistently in my life. The only time I miss is if I’m traveling. I went to an in person 4 day practice with Robert Peng several years ago. I’m going to a qigong retreat with Karen Soo this summer in England. Looking forward to it. Where are you located? Sorry for the long rant!

By the way as far as my understanding is concerned Neidan system which was newly known as QIGONG existed way bak even during B. C.. ie, long b4 Tamo arrived @ the Shaolin, bearing in mind that Tamo Taught Lohan Shibashu & passed on 2 sacred texts as Yi Jin Jing & Xi Xui Jing..

Just wanna clarify with u & cross chek about the former information

What are your insights or opinion on shaolin eight treasures (ba duan jin), muscle tendon changing (yi jin Jing) and bone marrow cleansing (xi sui jing)? I've been in shaolin culture and qi gong for three years and I'd like the opinion of an advanced practicioner 😊

Hi Jeff,

Can Qigong help those that has had Covid 19, has self isolated (10 - 14 days). But the body is still in the recovery process after self isolating. Breathing/weakness in the body. Also emotional/mental wellbeing.
