What are the Basic Concepts of Engineering?

Interested in engineering or just want to refresh on some basic physics terms? This video will walk you some of the basic concepts that engineers deal with on a daily basis.

Basics of engineering:
- clearances and tolerence: permissable limit of variation in a part (example the size of bolts and tools and what machines can create those parts?)

- force, pressure, and friction: friction is a resisting force from one object to another

- Velocity and acceleration: velocity is a vector

- work and energy: work is the force that moves an object and energy is what we need to ‘work’ and make an object move. Energy is the currency if doing work.

- stress and strain: stress is the form of unit area and stress is the the ammount of test in doing school and starin is your free time in doing school

I pretty much never work with negative accelerations. It can be done mathematically, but I believe it is convention to simply not deal with that. The reason being is acceleration vectors assign a force and direction, so mistakes are less prone when negatives aren't around.

Is force, friction, and speed and velocity used in all fields of engineering? And, would it be a good idea to get familiar with those concepts?

Hi i got a question, i gota school project and my topic is engineering. Im planning to play a fingerstyle guitar song because i need to demonstrate it, and if playing a fingerstyle guitar song is an example of engineering? Please im hoping it is. Because one mistake can ruin the song and it is also arrange like in real life wrong tabs cant make a song wonderfu so is it a example of engineering?
